The lead free glass produces better lumen maintenance over the life of the bulb and the new amalgam technology provides cooler operating temperatures for consistent performance in any position. The quick start technology gets bulbs brighter fast. They are ideal for table lamps, floor lamps, ceiling fixtures, wall scones, and vanity strips where the bulb is visible. A good rule of thumb is, if you can't see the bulb, use an open spiral. They are available in a variety of styles & sizes, including A-Lamps, globes & torpedo or candle style.
