Standard Base Globes

These globes have a standard base that will screw into any socket which will accept a regular incandescent bulb. They look like incandescent globes, but have the same long-lasting, energy-saving features as open spirals. The lead free glass produces better lumen maintenance over the life of the bulb and the new amalgam technology provides cooler operating temperatures for consistent performance in any position. The quick start technology gets bulbs brighter fast. They are ideal for vanity strips, but can also be used in table lamps, floor lamps, ceiling fixtures & wall scones where the bulb is visible. A good rule of thumb is, if you can't see the bulb, use an open spiral. They are available in a variety sizes from 2 watts (equivalent to 15 watt incandescent bulbs) up to 19 watts (the equivalent to 75 watt incandescent bulbs).
